About D11 News
I’m serving my fourth term on Greenwich’s town legislature, the Representative Town Meeting. Greenwich has a long history of volunteer government on boards, commissions, advisory committees, and the RTM. But our processes are confusing and many neighbors can’t kept track of plans, decisions, appointments, and elections.
As an RTM member, I represent you in voting to approve appointments, the annual town operating and capital budgets (including the resulting taxation rates), user fees like park passes and disposal tipping fees, appointments to boards and commissions, and to approve or reject proposed ordinances and gifts to Greenwich.
Here I will pass along selected updates and announcements especially relevant to District 11 (Northeastern Greenwich). I invite you to subscribe for free or revisit this site for updates.
If you have an feedback, inputs I can consider when voting, questions about pending RTM appointments or business, I’d value hearing from you. Please contact me via Substack and I will share my email or phone number.
Adam’s Bio
I moved to D11 with my wife and three kids in 2013. My wife is a Greenwich native and attended Greenwich Public Schools, as have our three kids. Her parents and brother’s family also live in D11.
I’m a technology executive who spent most of my career as a product manager and team lead at Google and Microsoft. Most recently I was VP Product Management at Rho Technologies, a NYC fintech Series B startup. I graduated from UC-Berkeley (MBA) and Dartmouth College (BA). In addition to my RTM service, I am on the board of a grantmaking Greenwich nonprofit and on the board of a small family foundation.
I am in my fourth term representing you and D11 on the Greenwich RTM.
I was unanimously elected by D11’s 22 other elected members to represent D11 on the RTM Education Committee. The Education Committee reviews the Greenwich Public Schools, Bruce Museum, and libraries’ operating and capital budgets and recommends disposition to the RTM. It also reviews appointments, municipal improvements, and ordinances related to town schools, libraries, and museums and reviews proposed gifts to them.
I was elected by the 230 member RTM to serve on the Labor Contracts Committee, where I also serve as secretary. The LCC reviews all negotiated collective bargaining agreements and recommends disposition to the RTM.
