Speed cameras coming to Northeast Greenwich
Two of Greenwich's eight speed cameras will be in D11 on North Street and Lower Cross Road in the areas of the elementary schools.
Speeding is especially frequent on North Street. The existing flashing lights and speed-display radar signs will remain and the new cameras will be installed and activated soon (despite the delay reported by Greenwich Free Press). Speeding drivers will receive mailed citations.
