Aquarian proposes 42% rate increase on Greenwich water
Application for $88 million increase filed in wake of failed sale from Eversource to the State of Connecticut
The proposed increase if approved would take effect in November 2026.
Aquarian’s last rate increase request in 2022 was reject by PURA, the state regulator of private utilities. The PURA chair at the time in under investigation for malfeasance.
